My client is looking for a Quantum computing lead to bring advisory expertise, a consultative approach, start-up mentality to an already established, well-financed business.

This role will involve building the Quantum computing efforts within the organisation, which will give a lot of autonomy and freedom for the individual to make key decisions, liase with C-level and really impact the business. The company is mid-sized, around 50 professionals currently, with an excellent network of customers and partners within Life Sciences, Oil & Gas and the Environmental (climate change) space.

We're partnered with this business to build their Quantum computing efforts, allowing for a Lead, to also then build a lab and hire 3-4 people. This role is open to remote talent also, but the company is based in California.

Key Requirements:

  • Entrepreneur mind-set
  • Great communicator
  • Quantum Computing experience
  • AI/ML experience is a plus
  • Strong enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment with freedom and autonomy
  • Willingness to move (mid-long term) to California
