Position: Senior Satellite Constellation Architect
Location: Munich, Germany

As a collaborative joint venture, we bring together expertise from various key areas of satellite communications, driving innovation and progress in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and simulation of a low earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellation.
- Analyze link budgets, conduct simulations, and perform access and coverage analysis with Ground Stations.
- Ensure the constellation meets technical requirements, customer needs, and performance goals.
- Stay updated with technology trends and advancements in the space and satellite industry.
- Develop simulation models and plans for satellite constellation planning, optimizing performance, data rate, and quality of service.
- Perform coverage analysis to ensure global coverage and identify gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate the satellite design with ground and payload segments.
- Analyze critical factors such as antenna steering, beamforming, tracking, and throughput.
Profile:
- Strong understanding of satellite link budget computations, antenna beamwidths, RF amplifiers gain, rain fade, and atmospheric loss computation.
- Experience in designing satellite constellations, particularly in LEO.
- In-depth knowledge of satellite subsystems and architecture.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with simulation tools like Keysight SystemVue, Matlab, etc.
- Master's degree in engineering with 5+ years of related experience.
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and drive progress.
- Experience in documenting analysis and system testing throughout satellite constellation development.
