Senior Instrumentation Engineer

As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a critical role in our petrochemical and plant engineering projects by providing expert guidance in the design, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems. You will lead a team of instrumentation engineers, work closely with other engineering disciplines, and ensure that all instrumentation-related aspects of projects are executed with precision and in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Your Responsibilities

1. Managing engineering tasks within the Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) domain.
2. Collaborating with customers to coordinate activities with specialist departments.
3. Implementing customer requirements effectively.
4. Participating in the creation of flow diagrams.
5. Selecting and designing Measurement, Sensing, and Regulation (MSR) devices, control systems, and Programmable Logic Systems (PLS).
6. Facilitating technical coordination with suppliers, manufacturers, assembly companies, and customers.

Requirements

1. A completed degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics.
2. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial and plant planning, particularly in the refineries, petrochemical, or chemical sectors.
3. Demonstrated experience in leading small, multidisciplinary teams.
4. Proficiency in project management, explosion protection, and system safety.
5. Proficiency in both German (C1 level) and English (C1 level).
