For a leading technology company specializing in electronics, embedded systems and FPGA with over 100 professional, I'm currently looking for a senior embedded software engineer here in the Netherlands.
In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse project team, consisting of hardware, embedded software, FPGA, and LabVIEW engineers. Your responsibilities will span from requirements specification and design to implementation, verification, and commissioning of electronics. Additionally, you will engage in direct communication with customers and production partners.
I am seeking candidates with significant industry experience who desire a multifaceted role and possess exceptional quality awareness.
Required Qualifications:
- Completed HBO or WO education, preferably in electrical engineering or technical computer science.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in designing embedded software.
- Proficiency in C++ within an embedded context.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems and related concepts.
- Knowledge of microcontrollers.
- Understanding of protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, and modbus.
- Experience in unit testing and version control.
- Familiarity with Embedded Linux and/or Android BSP is advantageous.
- Good to have MATLAB and Simulink knowledge.
- An accurate and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
- A team player with a proactive mindset, capable of independent work.
- Proficient in English, Dutch nice to have.
- Eager to learn and grow professionally.
