Project Manager - Renewable Energy

Location: Stockholm

Salary Range: 60k - 80k SEK

Our client is a distinguished Swedish energy company operating in the field of renewable energy. This forward-thinking organization is in the midst of a prosperous expansion and is currently in search of a proficient project manager to spearhead the development of exciting renewable energy initiatives encompassing wind, solar, and energy storage. Responsibilities:

• Overseeing a project portfolio.
• You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to bring projects from inception to a state ready for construction.
• In this capacity, you will work in tandem with internal and external specialists in the domains of energy and the environment, power grid management, wind energy, and technology.
• Your goal will be to secure the requisite permits and other prerequisites necessary for the successful construction and operation of these projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring project progress until permits are obtained.
• Collaborating with external stakeholders, including relevant authorities, clients, landowners, and consultants.
• Managing project budgets, schedules, and conducting risk assessments.
• Devising a communication strategy for the projects.
• This role is based in Stockholm, with the possibility of commencing work from an alternative location in the region. Business travel may be required as part of the position.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Several years of project management experience, preferably within the wind power or the broader energy industry.
• Educational background and experience in energy and environmental fields or equivalent qualifications as assessed by the employer.
• Possession of a Class B driving license.
• Prior experience with communication strategies involving multiple stakeholders is advantageous.
• Knowledge of permit processes and environmental legislation is a valuable asset.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, and proficiency in relationship building.
