My Client is a leading renewable energy producer operating in more than 20 countries. They develop, builds and operates projects in the area of onshore and offshore wind energy as well as photovoltsics in its own portfolio. They offer innovative and tailor-made battery storage solutions for industrial customers and to optimize thier own systems.

As a technical project manager EPC photovoltaics, you are an important part of our project development team in Hamburg and work closely with technical experts from their headquarters in Paris. You can be stationed in their office in Hamburg or Berlin.

The task

Project management for the construction of ground-mounted PV systems:

  • Preparation, monitoring and follow-up of construction and commissioning work. Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the contract and in accordance with legal and EDF-internal specifications/requirements. Preparation, creation and maintenance of all relevant documents such as budgets, schedules, risk matrices
  • Ensuring and implementing adequate documentation, information and communication, in coordination with authorities, external service providers/contractors as well as internal project teams and LTAs
  • Technical support of the project development team until the start of construction (e.g. project layout/design, component selection, grid connection and construction and operating concept) as well as preparation, management and direction of the construction work and commissioning
  • Identification of suitable service providers/contractors as well as participation in the negotiation and conclusion of corresponding contracts and in processing contract adjustments/violations
  • If necessary, participate in the training/instruction of new employees
  • Critical analysis and targeted further development of existing structures, approaches and processes - in

They Offer

  • Successfully completed technical studies as an electrical engineer in mechanical engineering, civil engineering or comparable studies
  • Relevant professional experience in comparable fields of activity, such as as a technical project manager in the area of ​​construction/energy generation projects.
  • Structured and independent way of working as well as a self-confident and assertive demeanor
  • Strong communication skills and a group and team-oriented way of working
  • Very good IT skills, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint, as well as subject-specific integrated project management/planning tools (e.g. CAD)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English - knowledge of French is an advantage
