This company is searching for Field Application Engineers (FAEs) to serve as the primary link between the company and its diverse customer base. These engineers play a pivotal role in supporting hardware developers across various industries and applications, ensuring a design win and successful sales through exceptional support.

As a Field Application Engineer, you will be instrumental in customer success, serving as the expert resource for hardware designers when low power is a priority. The company is on the lookout for technically proficient, problem-solving, and experienced application engineers to join their team, bridging the gap between customers and IC designers to facilitate seamless integration.

Low-power design poses unique challenges that demand attention to detail and a holistic understanding of how components and firmware interact. As an FAE, you'll blend technical expertise with sales-driven insights.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Directly engage with customers to provide support at both product and system levels during their development process.
  • Collaborate with distributor FAEs, enhancing their capabilities.
  • Act as the development team's eyes and ears in the field, offering crucial input into development priorities.
  • Work closely with marketing, business development, and sales teams to strategize and execute plans.
  • Play a critical role in establishing the right culture, systems, and work environment for the customer success team.

  • Possess excellent communication skills that inspire confidence and trust.
  • Able to effectively communicate with company management and team members on technology, work progress, client relationships, and support professional development.
  • Experience in electronics design and development, preferably in wireless, low-power systems, FAE roles, and/or sales.
  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant studies is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of sensors, wireless SoCs, and components constituting wireless systems.
  • Willingness to learn and stay abreast of technical developments.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English.
  • A self-starter comfortable working in a startup environment, ready to roll up your sleeves and dive in.
