NB: For this position we are only considering candidates already located inside of the Netherlands, and we cannot provide relocation services.
My client is looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to help build a data platform that identifies real-time fraud and fights money-laundering activities, and that contributes to a fun, happy and healthy lifestyle of their customers. You will be playing a critical role in designing, implementing and maintaining real-time data infrastructure, ensuring compliance with data regulations and enabling data streaming for various applications.
Main expectations for the role are:
- 6+ years' experience in data engineering on any Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Strong experience in designing, developing and maintaining real-time data pipelines for streaming and batch processing (Apache Kafka, Flink or similar tech stack)
- Knowledge of data compliance, privacy, security and governance to meet regulatory standards.
- Proven track record of delivering real time data solutions, including optimization and large scale data infrastructure for high performance and activity
- Expert in Python, Scala and Spark
- Experience in SQL, NoSQL and database designs
- Technical expertise in containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Worked with Data Lakes, CI/CD pipelines and a DevOps environment
- Great team spirit and communication, working in an Agile environment.
