Darwin have partnered exclusively with an ambitious DroneTech Start-up who specialise purely in Autonomous Systems & Swarm Intelligence.

Backed by experienced investors, their technology is gaining real traction and has many real-world applications across Defence and Commercial industries.

They are searching for an experienced Aerospace Engineer to play a key role in advancing their autonomous & Swarming capability.

The Role
You will develop intelligent algorithms for autonomy, developing new software from R&D through to a deployed product within real-world systems.

Experience of Interest

• Strong educational background within Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or Similar.
• 2+ years industry experience within a relevant field (Drones, UAVs, Robotics, Autonomous Systems).
• Experience of vehicle dynamics and control, sensor fusion and pose estimation.
• Skilled in C++, Python, ROS2, Linux/WSL, Docker, Javascript, PX4, MAVLink.
• Swarm Intelligence / Multi-agent systems / Fixed-wing UAV Dynamics.
• Hardware Integration (Drones, UAV, Robotics).
• An Engineering/Problem-solving mindset.
• English and/or Dutch.
• EU / NATO Citizenship

Salary in the region of €50,000-€70,000 + 25 days holiday + Equity + hybrid working.
