My client is a leading manufacturer of precision measuring instruments has a research and development center in St. Gallen, Switzerland. The center is home to a team of engineers and scientists who are dedicated to developing new and innovative measurement technologies.
They are looking for an experience Electronic Design Engineer to join their team in Heerbrugg.
Responsibilities:
- Define and design electronic systems as part of a cross-functional team, from the idea to the series production and support during the life cycle.
- Evaluate microcontrollers and their peripherals.
- Several years of experience in the relevant field (Microcontroller-System, PCB Design)
- Dimension and select power supply systems, in particular batteries and chargers.
- Schematic capture, layout, test, and qualification of the system.
Qualifications:
- Technical education in electronics or a similar subject (ETH, TU, or FH).
- Several years of experience in the relevant field (microcontroller systems, PCB design).
- Good knowledge of the required software tools.
- Fluency in English (German is a plus but not required)
