Key Responsibilities of the position:

• Design secondary systems for high-voltage substations, ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulations.

• Translate functional designs into executable project plans.

• Monitor project progress and ensure timelines are met.

• Perform quality control and resolve technical issues.

• Maintain technical documentation and project records.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from design to implementation.

• Ensure solutions are practical, safe, and technically sound.

• Support project planning and scheduling activities.

• Report findings and project updates to stakeholders.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and systems engineering processes.

Key requirements for the position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing high- and medium-voltage systems.

• Strong knowledge of electrical networks and energy systems.

• Experience with projects requiring high availability, reliability, and safety standards.

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and fluent in Afrikaans.

• Accurate and detail-oriented work approach.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Team-oriented mindset with collaboration skills.

• Willingness to relocate to Rotterdam or nearby areas.

• Adaptable to diverse project environments and changing technical requirements.
