We are looking for an experienced Interim Software Release Manager to take ownership of release coordination and readiness across multidisciplinary teams.

This is a hands-on contract role focused on delivery, integration, validation, and risk transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the end-to-end software release plan (scope, sequencing, timing).
• Align engineering, hardware, embedded, QA, and DevOps teams toward clear release milestones.
• Ensure proper integration across application software, embedded systems, firmware, hardware devices, and external platforms.
• Coordinate integration, validation, regression, performance, and compatibility testing prior to release.
• Drive release readiness reviews and structured go/no-go decisions.
• Identify and communicate risks early, making trade-offs between scope, timing, and quality transparent.
• Coordinate deliverables and quality standards with external software partners.
• Clearly communicate release scope and customer expectations.

Profile

• Proven experience managing complex software releases in hardware-integrated or embedded environments.
• Strong understanding of integration, system validation, and real-world release processes.
• Comfortable working across multiple technical teams and external partners.
• Technically credible with engineers; able to challenge constructively.
• Structured, calm, and transparent in complex delivery environments.
