Senior Process Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing water treatment processes and systems for our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and compliance of water treatment solutions across various industries. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, operations, and sales, to provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize water treatment processes and systems based on client requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to evaluate the viability and performance of proposed water treatment solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and process design specifications.
• Perform process simulations, mass and energy balances, and hydraulic calculations using appropriate software tools.
• Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot studies to validate and optimize process performance.
• Provide technical support to the sales team in developing proposals, including process design, equipment selection, and cost estimation.
• Assist in the procurement and evaluation of process equipment and materials.
• Monitor and evaluate system performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to ensure optimal operation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for project deliverables.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in water treatment and process engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in process engineering, preferably in the water treatment or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, including filtration, ion exchange, reverse osmosis, disinfection, and chemical dosing.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to water treatment (e.g., API, ASME, NACE, ISO).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices in the water treatment industry is a plus.
• Professional certifications or licenses related to process engineering are advantageous.
