I am seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join a leading data-driven software company in Vaud.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) plans for bioinformatics projects.
- Perform QA testing on bioinformatics software and data.
- Analyze QA test results and identify and report defects.
- Work with developers to fix defects and improve the quality of bioinformatics software and data.
- Document QA processes and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest QA standards and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in QA testing of bioinformatics software and data.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other programming languages.
- Experience with NGS data analysis tools and pipelines.
- Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Fluent in English.
