Embedded engineer

We are a fast-growing Scandinavian start-up. We are about to launch the OFFPAD, a credit card-sized device with biometric password-less authentication.

Our product is built upon a strong academic foundation from the University of Oslo's cyber department. After collaborating with world-leading production and design companies, we are now ready to share it with the world.

Role description

We are looking to expand our embedded software development team with a senior embedded software developer. We are looking for a person with a deep knowledge of embedded software development and knowledge of clean code and high code testability. The person needs to be able to work in a small team and take responsibility for planning and executing the work and of course, be a team player.

Technical skills

Must have:

• C programming.
• Knowledge about RTOS development, preferably Zephyr.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge about Bluetooth and NFC.
• Writing testable code.
• Using Linux as his/her development platform.
• Experience with Agile software development processes
• Experience with CI/CD

Personal skills

• Committed to writing clean, scalable, and high-quality code that is easy to maintain
• Always striving to learn new things, and share this knowledge with those around you
• Self-driven, always ready to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion
