Senior Electrical Engineer – High Voltage Systems

Your role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and coordination of secondary systems within high-voltage substations. You will work closely with Technical Managers and other stakeholders throughout all project phases.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing secondary installations for high-voltage substations (new build, expansion, and renovation)

• Translating functional and technical requirements into executable design solutions

• Preparing technical documentation and execution drawings using Systems Engineering principles

• Acting as a technical sparring partner to the Technical Manager

• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery

Your profile

• HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Electrical Power Engineering, or similar

• Strong affinity with electricity networks and high-voltage systems

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing complex high- and medium-voltage installations

• Strong communication skills and experience working in project-based environments

• Affinity with the Dutch language (spoken and written)
