FPGA Hardware Engineer

Job Summary:

Our company is seeking an experienced FPGA hardware engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing FPGA-based solutions for a variety of applications, including telecommunications, aerospace, and industrial control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital logic design, programming, and FPGA-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop FPGA-based solutions for a variety of applications
• Work with hardware and software teams to integrate FPGA solutions into larger systems
• Optimize FPGA solutions for performance, power consumption, and cost
• Conduct testing and verification of FPGA designs
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project completion

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in FPGA hardware design
• Experience with Verilog or VHDL programming
• Familiarity with FPGA development tools such as Vivado or Quartus
• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR, and Ethernet
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with embedded systems design
• Familiarity with digital signal processing (DSP) and/or wireless communications
• Knowledge of high-level synthesis (HLS) tools such as Vivado HLS or Catapult
