Freelance Program Director (Product & Technology) - 12 Month Contract

Job - Freelance Program Director (Product & technology)

Client Location - Berlin

Remote work offering - Hybrid

Client Industry - E-commerce

Contract Length - 12 months

Project focus

Lead one of the biggest programs within a global, multi-brand e-commerce business.

This program is part of a wider transformation with the end goal of the business becoming a global Product & Technology business. Historically the business has had separate Product & Technology teams that are location or brand specific. The end goal will be to create a global Product and Technology team.

Reporting into a Global Transformation Director, you'll work close to transformation teams which include Agile Coaches and PMO.

You will:

• Devise and execute a program strategy
• Work with Product and Technology leaders in the business to make sure the program suits the ways of working of the different tech hubs in the business
• Define and monitor scope of the program, the goals, deliverables alongside stakeholders
• Identify risks and issues, plan for mitigation to minimise impact of outcomes
• Introduce frameworks for program management and processes to ensure execution
• Monitor performance and establish KPIs to do so
• Budget management and financial forecasting
• Communicate status of the program to key stakeholders

Key skills and Experience required:

• Strong Program delivery experience within a Product and Technology organisation
• Experience of working in organisations that have fully adopted agile working
• Experience of working with customer centric Digital Native Enterprises/Organisations with empowered Product and Technology workforces
• Delivered large programs of over €40 million or over 200 FTE
• Strong reporting and analysis skills to define success metrics
• Have a growth mindset and always learn quickly
