General Information

• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: Basel, Switzerland
• Remote: Flexible
• Duration: 12 months

Main tasks/activities

• advise the program / project managers as the central IT contact for larger and cross-team projects
• drive and coordinate internal IT projects and initiatives (development of new platforms, integration/connection of partner solutions, support for major release upgrades...)
• help shape the IT transformation and are jointly responsible for the success and goals of IT
• coordinate with the leadership team members, with the enterprise architect and the IT strategy and innovation lead
• act as Lead Solution Architect for large projects and thus design and lead the corresponding working groups
• are involved in the selection of technologies and frameworks in connection with the corresponding projects

Position requirements

• a well-founded education (FH, university or HF) with a focus on computer science
• Several years of professional experience (5 - 10 years) as an enterprise and solution architect
• broad IT expertise and are familiar with system landscapes in the financial environment
• a background in software development with agile methods
• Strong conceptual and planning skills
• a pronounced "out-of-the-box" thinking and develop new solutions
• an independent, service-oriented and committed way of working
• the mentality of an enabler / designer and have the necessary methodological skills
• Very good knowledge of German (oral/written)
