Team Lead Data Engineer

A market leader in smart technology is looking for a Team Lead Data Engineer with background in Azure Cloud to join their creative and enthusiastic team.

You will be supporting multiple projects at the same time, designing robust data transformations and platforms, using the latest design principles to ensure effective and efficient large-scale data processing pipelines, designing and implementing data architectures, and last but not least mentoring and guiding colleagues, being the driver behind research and development.

Main expectations of the role:

• Min 6 years' experience in Data Engineering with some of it working on large scale projects
• Programming experience with Python and Scala
• Experience with Big Data tools (e.g.: Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes) and Cloud environments
• Familiar with designing and implementing data processing architectures
• Great communication skills / team lead experience
