We are hiring 2x Technical Translators to work with our highly reputable automotive partners onsite with our client.

What are they looking for in a Technical Translator?

Our client is looking for a German/Hungarian or Greek translator to work onsite contributing to our client's automotive expansion.

Tasks

- Works independently and coordinates translation tasks including preparation and review of deliveries.

- Prepare and review translation documents in the area of electrical engineering and information technology in the automotive industry

- Presentation of project status and solutions to management

- Maintains and creates translation tables for external suppliers

- Translation Management: Reviews and adapts translated content, suggests alternatives for complex translation items

- Validates translations in products

- General project management support

- Works together with internal and external partners for translation optimisation

- Contributes to translation database management

Skills Required

- Confident inter-personnel skills to work within a diverse project team at different international locations

-Very good skills in English

- Strong technical and analytical skills

Experience Required

- Automotive experience / User experience

- Excellent knowledge in Excel (MS Office), SharePoint

Experience Preferred

- International experience (studies or professional)

- Experience in product delivery and JIRA toolchain

Nice to have-

- Skills in Hungarian or Greek Language (native speaker or certified excellent command as non-native speaker) are beneficial but not essential/required

- Skills in German

Education Required

- Degree in linguistics, translations, terminology management or social sciences, OR - Interface computer sciences / applied (comparative) linguistics OR Degree in technical studies with a linguistic background.
