Senior Linux / Container Infrastructure Engineer – CCI / OpenShift

The Hague (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

Start: April 2026

Contract: 12 months

A large organisation based in The Hague is looking for an experienced Linux / Container Infrastructure Engineer to support a major platform initiative centred around Cloud Container Infrastructure (CCI).

The organisation is currently on a large-scale containerisation journey, onboarding multiple applications onto their CCI platform. They are looking for engineers with deep container infrastructure knowledge who can help design, build and support a robust platform environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimise container infrastructure platforms
• Support onboarding of multiple applications onto the CCI platform
• Work with Red Hat and OpenShift environments
• Contribute to automation and infrastructure scripting
• Collaborate with platform, DevOps and application teams

Required Experience

• Strong Linux engineering background
• Proven experience with container infrastructure / CCI environments
• Hands-on with Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms
• Automation and scripting using Bash or Python

Nice to Have

• Experience with Puppet
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise platform environments
• Infrastructure automation and configuration management experience

Contract Details

• 12-month contract
• Start in April
• Hybrid working model (2 days onsite in The Hague)
• Interviews taking place in March
