My client is currently working on developing a new Allen Bradley control standard, aligned with their existing Siemens standard. For this, I am looking for a senior consultant who can provide content-driven guidance on architecture, programming philosophy, and standardisation. The goal is to establish a robust and scalable foundation that can be applied consistently across future projects.

Responsibilities

• Advise on the setup of an Allen Bradley standard aligned with the existing Siemens framework
• Support decision-making on software structure, programming approach, and reusability
• Act as a technical sparring partner on Allen Bradley-related topics
• Contribute to the practical applicability of the standard within logistics environments
• Share best practices on Allen Bradley platforms, design, and implementation

Requirements

• Extensive experience with Allen Bradley (Rockwell) programming
• Proven background within logistics or material handling systems
• Experience in developing or improving software standards in industrial automation
• Ability to independently advise on architecture and standardisation
• Strong communication skills and ability to act as a senior consultant/sparring partner
