About the Company
Our client is a leading telecommunications operator undergoing a major transformation toward AI-driven automation and autonomous networks. As part of a multi-year strategy focused on operational efficiency, OSS modernization, and real-time network intelligence, the organization is investing heavily in AI enablement, streaming telemetry, and closed-loop automation capabilities.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced AI & Telco Architect to bridge the gap between telecom network operations and modern AI capabilities.
This role requires someone who understands both OSS/network architecture and AI technologies, and can translate operational telecom challenges into scalable AI-driven solutions. You will work closely with architecture, AI, and network operations teams to help move the organization from Level 2 to Level 4 on the TM Forum Autonomous Network maturity model.
Key Responsibilities
- Define AI integration architecture across OSS domains including assurance, fulfillment, inventory, and performance management
- Advise on the use of predictive AI, generative AI, and agentic AI frameworks for telecom use cases
- Drive the transition from batch-based OSS telemetry to real-time streaming architectures
- Support AI cost modeling, scalability, and reusable design principles
- Translate telecom operational processes into AI-ready requirements
- Support business cases focused on automation, Opex reduction, and operational efficiency
- Act as a bridge between network engineers, architects, data teams, and business stakeholders
Requirements
Essential
- Strong telecom / OSS background with experience in:
- Assurance
- Fulfillment
- Inventory
- Fault management
- Capacity planning
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and frameworks
- Understanding of real-time telemetry and streaming technologies (Kafka, gNMI, OpenTelemetry)
- Enterprise architecture and integration experience
- Strong stakeholder communication and business-facing skills
Nice to Have
- TM Forum Autonomous Networks experience
- 5G SA / Network Slicing knowledge
- Data Mesh exposure
- Experience with LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGPT, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with major OSS platforms (Ericsson, Nokia, Netcracker, Comarch)
