Linux Engineer (RHEL or CentOS)
You will play a key role in managing and evolving our Linux infrastructure. You will troubleshoot complex technical issues, automate operational processes, and contribute to the design of secure and scalable platforms.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Managing, maintaining, and optimizing Linux servers and infrastructure.
- Monitoring system performance, availability, and security.
- Automating deployments, configurations, and operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Troubleshooting complex incidents and performing root cause analysis.
- Supporting cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Collaborating with development, cloud, and operations teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Implementing security best practices, patch management, and compliance standards.
- Documenting infrastructure, processes, and technical solutions.
- Continuously improving platform stability, scalability, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable Linux environments across production and non-production systems.
- Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of systems and services.
- Automate recurring operational activities and deployments.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to deliver future-proof infrastructure solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Linux system administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, or similar).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Understanding of networking, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
