As a Senior E&I Technician at IQatalyst, you are responsible for keeping the electrical and instrumentation aspects of the installations in the factory operational. You act as the primary technical point of contact for E&I malfunctions and work highly independently within a safety-critical chemical environment. Your tasks consist of:
Responsibilities in the role:
- You perform preventive tests and assess whether installations and measuring instruments function within specification (maximum deviation 1%).
- You independently analyze and resolve malfunctions and deviations, even when these extend beyond the installation or system.
- In the event of malfunctions, you independently determine the appropriate approach: immediate intervention or planned execution, coordinated with production.
- You oversee installations and malfunctions in conjunction, identify structural risks, and initiate corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- You act as a substantive sparring partner for colleagues and actively contribute to knowledge transfer and safeguarding within the ETD.
- You safeguard safety, the environment, and quality, and ensure the correct recording of activities in the maintenance system ( Ultimo).
