Key Responsibilities

Incident & Problem Management: Take ownership of major incidents affecting BSS/OSS applications. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to ensure long-term stability.

Application Reliability: Monitor the health and performance of mission-critical applications. Proactively identify potential bottlenecks or failure points to improve system resilience.

*

SQL-Based Analysis: Utilize advanced SQL querying skills to investigate data inconsistencies, validate transactions, and support operational troubleshooting.

*

Operational Improvements: Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to automate manual tasks, improve deployment processes, and enhance overall system observability.

*

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.

What You Bring to the Table

Experience: Proven experience in Application Support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role, ideally within the telecommunications sector.

Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with BSS (Business Support Systems) and OSS (Operational Support Systems) is highly desirable (e.g., billing, order management, network provisioning).

*

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data analysis and troubleshooting. Experience with incident management tools and monitoring platforms.

Mindset: A collaborative team player who is eager to explore new opportunities for improvement and is not afraid to take ownership of critical issues.

Location: Willingness to work in the Netherlands (Visa sponsorship may be available for the right candidate).
