Linux Engineer (1-Year Contractor)

We are searching for a Linux Engineer for a hands‑on and solution‑oriented mindset, you contribute directly to delivering the best possible digital experience across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Ensure availability, stability and performance of services and systems.
Design, build and run scalable, manageable and cost‑efficient Linux tools/services/systems.
Document and review all tools, services and systems to maintain quality standards.
Safeguard security across all infrastructure components.
Participate in a rotating 24/7 standby schedule for operational continuity.

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in CentOS 6/7 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6/7.
In‑depth knowledge of Puppet and Ansible.
Advanced Linux scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
Experience with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Understanding of web applications, networking, monitoring and security.
Experience with DNS, SMTP/email, NTP.
Knowledge of IP routing and OS‑level firewalls.
