About the Role

We are seeking an MES / SCADA Engineer to support digital manufacturing and automation systems within a pharmaceutical production environment. You will work on the implementation, integration, and optimization of MES and SCADA platforms to support compliant and efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize MES and SCADA systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Support integration between MES, PLCs, and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot system issues and support production to ensure system availability.
• Participate in system implementation, upgrades, and commissioning activities.
• Support validation and documentation in line with GMP and GAMP5 requirements.
• Collaborate with automation, IT, process engineering, and QA teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Computer Engineering, Industrial IT, or similar.
• 3-5+ years of experience with MES, SCADA, or industrial digital systems.
• Experience with platforms such as Werum PAS-X, Siemens Opcenter, Ignition, WinCC, or similar.
• Understanding of PLC integration and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of ISA-95 / ISA-88 standards.
• Experience with system validation (CSV).
• Familiarity with data integration between MES, ERP, and automation systems.
