Job Title: QA Operations Officer
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Type: 6-Month Contract (with view to permanent placement)

Overview:
An established biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization in Amsterdam is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Operations Officer to support Quality Assurance activities related to GMP production. This is a 6-month contract role with the strong possibility of extension or permanent employment based on performance and organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day QA oversight of manufacturing and production operations to ensure compliance with GMP standards.

• Review and approve batch records, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.

• Provide QA support during manufacturing, including on-the-floor presence and documentation oversight.

• Participate in investigations related to production deviations or out-of-specification results.

• Collaborate closely with Production, QC, and Engineering teams to ensure continuous quality improvement.

• Assist with internal and external audits and inspections.

• Support validation and qualification activities from a QA perspective.

• Maintain and update quality systems and ensure proper documentation practices are followed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment, preferably within the (bio)pharmaceutical industry.

• Solid understanding of GMP guidelines and QA processes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Dutch is a plus.
