Darwin Recruitment is partnering with a prominent railway transportation client to seek a seasoned CI/CD Expert to join their dedicated Service Organization responsible for critical system operations.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Utrecht, Hybrid (minimum of 2 days a week on-site)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Duration: 6 month Extendable
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hourly rate: In consultation
Role Definition:
The CI/CD Expert will be instrumental in transforming the existing CI/CD pipeline to enable the transition to a MACH architecture. You will be pivotal in enhancing software quality across the organization and ensuring seamless integration of CI/CD practices into the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on CI/CD practices in collaboration with product owners.
- Define the strategy for CI/CD tooling design, selection, and implementation with architects.
- Evaluate CI/CD implementations' performance and impact across teams.
- Guide DevOps teams through the design and execution of their CI/CD processes, fostering a co-creation environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in CI/CD.
- Knowledgeable in APIs, integration techniques, and application integration, including package and dependency management in CI/CD.
- Proven experience as a (micro)services architect within complex environments.
- Expertise in API management, Service Mesh, and Security (e.g., 3scale, Istio, Jaeger).
- Proficient with Ansible, Ansible Tower; familiarity with Jenkins/Gradle/Java is a plus.
- Strong experience in team leadership and hands-on implementation.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree level of working and thinking.
- Fluency in Dutch & English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Resilient character, with the ability to maintain a strong stance.
- Prior experience in government projects would be beneficial.
