Project Engineer – Energy Infrastructure

Our client is a leading energy infrastructure company in the Netherlands, managing critical projects that shape the future of sustainable power. As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, planning, and delivering solutions for high-voltage and medium-voltage networks. Expect challenging assignments, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the reliability and innovation of the power grid.

Your responsibilities:

• Translate customer requirements into technical designs and project plans.
• Prepare engineering documentation, drawings, and calculations for HV/MV installations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support tender processes and provide technical input during procurement phases.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or similar.
• 2-5 years of experience in project engineering within energy or infrastructure.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Dutch regulations and willingness to learn the language (Afrikaans speakers welcome).
